Nikki Preiner

I am a connected and considered health professional. As an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist, I support women through holistic nutrition. Specialising in hormonal conditions, I will help you make informed food choices to improve your overall health. With 15 years experience, I completed my Master of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics and Exercise Rehabilitation (with Distinctions) in 2010 at the University of Wollongong.
I am passionate about women’s health and understand the profound impact food can have on the function of a woman’s body and mind. With years of experience, I have developed an intimate understanding of the hormonal challenges women face throughout their lives and how these affect our overall wellbeing. My approach is based on building a non-judgmental connection with my clients and is supported by the most up-to-date scientific evidence. With a whole food focus, my advice is empathetic to the magnitude of influences that shape decisions around what we eat.
I have a particular interest area in endometriosis, adenymyosis and pelvic pain. Food and nutrition play a crucial role in managing symptoms of these conditionss. They can help combat inflammation, support excess hormone secretion and improve gut health. My advice will focus on:
– Reducing period and pelvic pain
– Optimising gut microbiome
– Minimising symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and “endobelly”
– Assisting in the elimination of excess hormones and promoting hormonal balance
– Regulating menstrual flow and increasing fertility
– Exploring supplementation options to complement dietary changes and address nutritional deficiencies\
My own health journey includes managing a previous diagnosis of PCOS, Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, gestational diabetes mellitus in one of my pregnancies and more recently endometriosis. My personal experiences with these conditions, and the healthcare systems I have encountered on my journey, have driven my mission. I aim to empower women to take control of their health through nutrition in an understanding and non-judgemental way.
